Polite Communication: maintaining a respectful tone, avoiding offensive language, and being helpful to other drivers are appreciated by fellow truckers.

Help Other Drivers in Need: truckers have a tradition of helping fellow drivers, whether it’s assisting with directions, mechanical issues, or providing updates about traffic and road conditions.

Use of Lights: truckers sometimes flash their headlights to let another driver know it’s safe to merge or pass. In return, a tap of the brake lights or hazard lights can be used as a “thank you.”

Remaining calm and patient, even in frustrating situations, shows respect not only to other drivers but also reflects professionalism.
